Use the admissions checklist below to guide you through the CCC admissions process.
For each step, contact the campus you are interested in attending.
Creating an account will allow you to learn more about CCC. Once you create an account, you can schedule a campus visit, register for an admissions event, and apply for admission to the college.
Sign up online to attend Central Days or schedule an individual tour, or call the Admissions Office for an appointment. You can also meet with financial aid staff during your campus visit.
Complete and submit your application. Applications may be completed and submitted from our website, or may be from obtained from our admissions offices (listed below) or from high school counselors. Some college programs have special admission requirements and deadlines; you can find out about those by checking with the Admissions Office.
To be eligible for financial aid, applicants must submit an official high school or high school equivalency transcript showing successful graduation or completion. It is highly recommended that transfer students submit official transcripts from all previous institutions, to reduce duplication of courses.
Students who have earned a previous degree (associate or higher) from a regionally accredited college and are now If seeking a degree at CCC are not required to submit high school transcripts. They are highly encouraged to submit an official college transcript showing degree completion, to reduce duplication of courses.

To be considered official, transcripts must be sent directly from the educational institution or must arrive in a sealed envelope.
If you anticipate earning a certificate, diploma or degree or intend to enroll in an academic transfer course, please call to schedule a time to take the ACCUPLACER pre-enrollment assessment. Completing a pre-enrollment assessment is required to register for most classes. Scores must be current from the last three years. A college degree may allow for an exception. Some CCC health programs and transfer courses require current pre-enrollment assessment scores even if you have a degree. Contact the Admissions Office or the Assessment Office with questions.
ACT Test: Have your ACT scores sent to the Registrar’s Office if taken within the last three years. (The ACCUPLACER pre-enrollment assessment may be waived if you have an ACT composite score of 19 or higher, with all subscores of 19 or higher.
Scholarship application is available online. Please take note of all scholarship deadlines and guidelines.
If you are interested in financial aid, complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) after Oct. 1. CCC’s school code is 014468.
Indicate your interest in on-campus housing on your application for admission. Housing is only available at the Columbus and Hastings campuses.
Attend New Student Orientation prior to your first semester at Central Community College. You will have an opportunity to register for classes at this event. You may receive an invitation to these sessions. You may also call an Admissions Office to sign up for orientation or sign up online.
