Hall of Fame
The Central Community College Foundation Hall of Fame was established to honor individuals and couples who have demonstrated exceptional support for Central Community College and/or the Foundation and their missions over the years.
All Hall of Fame inductees are memorialized and honored on plaques that bear their picture and a brief description of their exemplary support to college and/or foundation. These plaques hang at the entrance of the administration board room at Central Community College in Grand Island.

Dr. Greg & Marilee Smith
In recognition and appreciation of their ongoing support of CCC students through the establishment of two endowed scholarships with the CCC Foundation and for Greg’s dedicated service as CCC President.
Homer & Margaret Pierce
In recognition and appreciation of Homer and Margaret’s longtime commitment to Central Community College and the Foundation along with their support in numerous Nebraska communities and for Homer’s many years of service as a member of the Board of Governors and the Foundation Board of Directors.

Cited for their long-standing support of CCC and the CCC Foundation through their ongoing commitment to the development and improvement of the CCC Columbus Campus.
Ron and Carol Cope
Honored for their support in the development of the CCC Kearney Center and establishment of the Ron & Carol Cope Foundation Scholarship Fund for CCC nursing students.
Dale and Dolores Watley
Established a small business incubator loan fund to provide low interest loans through CCC’s Small Business Institute.
Wuanita Butler and Butler Family
Recognized for early support for Central Community College and the Foundation.
Jim and Norma Merrick
Honored for outstanding leadership in a successful capital campaign on the Grand Island Campus.
Cited for his leadership in the formation of the Columbus Campus.
Instrumental in the creation of the CCC system. He was a member of the Board of Governors from 1966 until his death in 2004.
Strong supporter of CCC for more than 25 years. Mrs. Behlen was a leader of the CCC Foundation kick-off campaign.
